FAMILY GAME NIGHT
5 games your family can play tonight
No equipment, no screens, 2 or more players. Pick one at dinner, in the car, or before bed.
Hello from your child's classroom. These are five of the games we play at school, chosen because they work just as well around a kitchen table. Ten minutes is plenty. The laughing is the point.
01
Weekly CelebrationUnder 5 min
This can be an excellent way for a class, workplace or family to start the week as an activity or use it as a positive reflection to finish the week on a high.
02
Set Go1-10 min
This is a tremendous full group warm-up icebreaker activity. This game can be played with as little as two people right up to large groups of 100 plus participants.
03
The Giving Scale1-10 min
We use this activity a lot with friends, work colleges and family members . It’s a great way to open up conversations and generate meaningful ‘giving’.
04
Two Truths, One Lie1-10 min
Students are to get into pairs (or threes). The idea of this activity is to trick the rest of the group with facts about you both.
05
The Happiness Alphabet1-20 min
You must be creative and think of all the wonderful people, places and experiences you have had to find a letter for each alphabet. Good luck.
