How to play
A whole-class paper, scissors, rock tournament where every player who's out joins a winner's train and cheers them on, until one giant cheering train remains. It builds fun, energy and excitement at the start of a lesson.
- Explain how paper, scissors, rock works.
- Students move around and challenge each other to a game.
- The winner keeps playing; the other player joins behind with hands on their shoulders as a train carriage.
- Carriages chant the name of the person at the front of their train as loudly as possible.
- Keep going until one train remains; the front player is 'the train conductor' and leads a lap of the area.
