SAFEGUARDING
Designed for safe schools.
ClassBreak is a teacher-facing tool. We have never collected student personal data, and we never will.
No student accounts
ClassBreak is operated by teachers, for teachers. Students never create accounts, never log in, and never interact with our platform.
No student PII
We collect zero student personal information — no names, ages, email addresses, or identifiers of any kind. Ever.
Teacher data only
Only the teacher's account holds any data: name, email, usage statistics, and subscription status. That's it.
School controls
School plans include admin dashboards where designated safeguarding leads can manage teacher accounts and audit usage.
What data does ClassBreak collect?
ClassBreak collects the minimum data required to operate the service.
Compliance
GDPR
We are compliant with the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation. Teachers in the EU/UK have full rights to access, correct, and delete their data on request.
Australian Privacy Act
We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (amended 2014), including the Australian Privacy Principles.
COPPA
ClassBreak is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child's data has been collected, contact us immediately.
