How to play
A warm-up where one person tries to make their partner or group laugh within one minute while everyone holds a static position. It is a light, funny icebreaker that shows the group's different personalities.
- Put students in pairs or groups of 3 to 4. Set clear limits on what they can do to make others laugh.
- Everyone holds a position, such as a plank. One student tries to make the others laugh within one minute, for example with loud animal noises.
- If the others laugh, the funny person wins and everyone leaves the hold for the round's exercise.
- Winners do 20 reps of the round's exercise, such as star jump squats; if nobody laughs, the group does 30.
- Swap the funny person each round. Play as many rounds as you like, or pair up winners for a grand finale.
