How to play
A desk-based cricket game where students keep batting and adding their score until they roll a 5. Plenty of addition, with a chance to extend into averages.
- Put students in pairs with a dice and paper to score.
- The batter rolls; a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 adds to their score and they roll again.
- A 5 means they are out and their score stops there; the other student bats.
- Students add scores on paper or in their heads.
- Repeat 5 times each and add the five scores; the highest total wins.
- Extend by having students work out their average score.
