How to play
A counting circle game where students say 'buzz' instead of any multiple of the times table you're learning. It builds concentration and makes times tables practice feel like a game.
- Sit or stand the class in a circle and choose a times table, such as 7s.
- Start by saying one; the next student says two, and so on around the circle.
- On any multiple of 7, the student says 'buzz' instead of the number.
- If someone slips up, work through it together and continue.
- Once the class has mastered the multiples, also buzz any number with a 7 in it, such as 27 and 37.
