How to play
A 20-minute lap race in small teams, themed on Mario Kart. Teams run a course of three stations, drawing mystery items and cards to set exercises and reps, with mystery box surprises for everyone.
- Put students in pairs or groups of three and set up three stations, each with a whiteboard.
- Station one: draw a mystery item for a bodyweight exercise, then a card; double its number for the reps.
- Station two: draw a mystery item for a second bodyweight or shadow boxing exercise, then a card for the reps.
- Station three, the mystery box: a banana skin means your team stops for 20 walking lunges.
- A red shell can be thrown at another group, who stop for 20 squat jumps.
- Play two ten-minute games or one 20-minute game with a five-minute break; most laps wins.
- Scale the reps and time to suit your class.
