How to play
An outdoor hide-and-seek warm-up where the person who is 'it' guards a ball in a hula-hoop. Hiders sneak back to kick the ball away and free everyone, so it rewards stealth, speed and teamwork.
- Play outside in an open space with good hiding places. Set the hula-hoop and soccer ball in the middle of the oval.
- Choose one person to be 'it'. A student kicks the ball away and everyone runs to hide.
- 'It' fetches the ball, puts it back in the hoop, then looks for hiders.
- With one foot on the ball, 'it' calls out who they can see, such as "40/40 I see Mark". Caught students stand to the side.
- Uncaught students try to run out and kick the ball away without being caught. If they do, everyone is free to hide again.
- 'It' wins by catching everyone. Change who is 'it' every ten minutes.
