How to play
A whole-class jumping wave where students lie in a circle and leap over each other one after another. Everyone takes part together, and timing the class adds a beat-the-clock challenge.
- Students lie on their stomachs in a circle, heads facing in, with a body width between each student.
- Stand in the middle and call one student's name.
- That student gets up and jumps clockwise over every student until they are back in their place, then lies down.
- Like a Mexican wave, each student gets up and follows once they have been jumped, back to their own place.
- The turn ends when the last student lies down. Time the class and try to beat the clock.
