How to play
A pool workout driven by a deck of UNO cards. Each colour sets a swimming stroke plus a body-weight exercise, and students chase a card count they can try to beat next time.
- Get a full deck of 108 UNO cards, ideally plastic or laminated.
- Option one: set a timer for 15 minutes; each student works through cards, completing the stroke and exercise for each.
- Yellow is 50 m freestyle and 10 sit ups; green 50 m backstroke and 10 squats.
- Blue is 25 m butterfly and 5 push ups; red 25 m breaststroke and 10 lunges.
- Reverse repeats the previous card, draw 2 doubles the next, wild is one minute treading water, wild draw 4 is 25 m of each stroke.
- Option two: four even teams work through all 108 cards together. Most cards completed wins, and record the time to beat.
