What ClassBreak knows about your students
“What student data do you store?”
Students never make an account, never give an email address and never give a real name unless you ask them to. What a live game holds is a display name they typed, a score, and a wellbeing answer — and the whole room is deleted within a day of the game finishing.
Wellbeing answers are only ever stored as class aggregates, and never below three respondents. There is no per-child wellbeing record anywhere in the product.
Team Picker class lists stay on your own device and are not uploaded.
If your school prefers it, ask students to join with initials or first names only. Nothing in ClassBreak needs a surname.
Studio refuses text that identifies a child, and will tell you to remove a name rather than quietly processing it.
