All you need to know about teaching, learning and classroom management

This session is based on the work on John Hattie into what has the greatest influence on student achievement. Visible learning is about teachers seeing learning through their student’s eyes so that learning becomes visible, clear and understandable to all.When learning is visible students know what they are learning, what they need to do and are given the skills to know when they’ve achieved their learning.In this session, Aaron will share a range of simple and effective strategies that all teachers can use in their classrooms to maximise learning time and get the best from all their students.Aaron is an Assistant Principal from NSW, Australia. This year is his 13th year teaching and 5th in a leadership role in schools. Aaron is currently teaching Years 3 & 4 but has taught all grades from Kindergarten-Year 6 as a classroom teacher and in a range of well-being and learning support roles. Aaron is passionate about building inclusive classrooms and communities based on quality relationships with all student, staff & parents with a focus on excellence in teaching and learning & wellbeing
