How to play
A circuit turned into a chase. Partners start two stations apart and race around a ten-station circle, the chaser trying to catch the leader, which rewards working harder and faster.
- Pair students of similar ability.
- Set up ten stations in a large circle, roughly ten metres apart, such as squats, push ups and lunges.
- Everyone completes ten reps at a station, then moves clockwise to the next.
- The leader starts two stations ahead of the chaser. If the chaser catches the leader, they score a point and restart.
- Swap roles every five minutes, with a drink and quick rest at the ten-minute mark.
- After 20 minutes, the partner with the most catches is the 'Extreme circuit tag champion'.
- Scale the reps, holds, distances and time to suit your class; students can rest and rejoin whenever they need.
